Side Effects

  • Decreased libido (1–2%)
  • Erectile dysfunction (1–2%)
  • Decreased ejaculate volume

Warnings

  • For men only — absolutely contraindicated in women
  • Women of childbearing age must not handle crushed tablets (teratogenic)
  • Sexual side effects may persist in rare cases after stopping
  • Lowers PSA — inform urologist
  • Results take 3–6 months; full effect at 1–2 years
