Description
Tricort is Cadila's branded triamcinolone acetonide injection — an alternative to Kenacort widely used in Indian dermatology clinics. Available in 10mg/mL concentration which is preferred dilution for facial and sensitive area injections.

- Keloid and hypertrophic scars
- Alopecia areata
- Cystic acne
- Localised psoriasis
- Lichen planus
Dosage
Inject 0.1–0.5mL per site intralesionally. May be diluted with saline for larger areas. Repeat every 4–6 weeks.

Side Effects
- Local skin atrophy
- Hypopigmentation
- Telangiectasia
- Injection site pain
- Menstrual irregularities (if large doses)
Warnings
- Dilute to 2.5–5mg/mL for facial use
- Avoid in infected skin
- Risk of dermal atrophy with superficial injection
- Hypopigmentation risk in Indian skin tones
- Do not inject more than 20mg total per session
